Hybrid Working Model
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis.
Candidates must have a strong Payroll background and have experience of processing both a weekly and monthly payroll.
This role can be based in either Portlaoise or Rathcoole and the client is also offering a Hybrid working model.
Experience using Sage Micropay and TMS would be a distinct advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly & monthly payrolls in conjunction with our outsourced provider BDO
- Liaising with the HR dept. on payroll changes
- Monthly payroll journals & related reconciliations & analyses
- Administration of the company pension & health insurance schemes
- Maintaining the BIK register for employees with company cars
- Liaising with HR/Senior Management on payroll matters & resolution of payroll related queries
- Preparing monthly payroll related accruals
- Assisting in the preparation of annual payroll budgets
- Completing all payroll related CSO returns & Revenue Returns
- Project Management – bringing the payroll in-house and running same
The Person
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 2-3 years Payroll experience
- Experience of processing both a weekly and monthly payroll
- Experience of using Sage Micropay and TMS would be an advantage
- Strong Excel skills are required.
