Financial Accountant Construction
Our Client are large Main Contractor involved in numerous large-scale construction with a number of projects in excess of €50m.
They are seeking an experienced financial accountant with experience in the construction industry to add to their growing team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities
• Preparation of management accounts together with supporting board report schedules
• Managing the forecasting and budgeting process
• Revenue related activities: Revenue recognition with supporting documentation
• Weekly working capital reporting (cash, accrued revenue, debtors)
• Managing Payroll, pensions, and related matters
• Taxes: PAYE, VAT, CT and annual returns
• Banking and treasury
• Statutory accounts preparation and audit
• Continuous improvement of reporting and processes
• Ad-hoc queries as expected in a financial accountant role
The Person
Skills and Experience:
• Previous Financial Accountant position within the construction industry.
• Fully qualified – ACA / CIMA / ACCA
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills are required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
• COINS software experience would be a distinct advantage
