The Role

Financial Controller (Permanent) 
Location: Clondalkin, Co Dublin

Office based

The Finance Controller will work closely with the Management team to advise, analyse and report on key business indicators, measures and financial information, using a variety of management tools to support decision making and ensure strong governance and control of the business.
Duties will include:
· Control of the company’s Annual Investment Plan (PAI) (contracts, amounts contracted...) and carry out investment profitability studies.
· Work with SSC credit control team to analyse customer risk and make the necessary decisions in each case.
· Participate in the Strategic Plan of the Region. Define and calculate standard costs (hourly rates, raw material, costs ...) and control updating of all the variables that depend on other departments and that are necessary in order to prepare the tariffs, pricing and quotations.
· Analyse profitability by customer and by product and align reported results to costing system.
· Work with SSC to ensure co-ordination and continual improvement of transaction processes.
· Compliance with tax, labour, accounting regulations ensuring external audit requirements are met.
· Work in conjunction with Country Finance Director particularly where deviations arises. Ensure compliance of internal regulations, particularly to satisfy Group Audit requirements.
· Maintain weekly control of costs and margin trackers as required
· P&L compilation and analysis
· Cost Recovery Plan Development – In Conjunction of GM
· Management of Account Payment and Account Receivable Team
· Oversee payroll processes
· Import/ Export Incoterms & VAT compliance returns (UK&IRE)

 

 

The Person

The successful candidate will have:
· 5 years finance experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Relevant education in accounting, finance, economics or other relevant discipline and have or be working towards professional accountancy qualification.
· Personal qualities will include excellent communication and negotiation skills, project management and leadership, numerate, analytical and IT literate, self motivated, results driven and resilient
Desirable
· EFI & SAP experience
