The Role

HR Officer

Finglas, Dublin 11

Office based

Permanent 

Salary: Negotiable DOE

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training in house including induction and various employment law updates and courses
  • Administer external training
  • Liaise with external provider of agency staff
  • Arrange all interviews from agencies
  • Act as the first line of support for all line managers in relation to employment queries, delivering the highest level of seamless support
  • Manage the full investigatory cycle including note taking, report writing and employee liaison
  • Update and manage all notice boards
  • Manage and maintain various KPI trackers
  • Manage the weekly OWTA report for Operations, making suggestions for improvements on breaches
  • Manage the full absence portfolio including weekly reporting and disciplinary
  • Manage the welfare of all long term absent colleagues with regular contact and medical assessments

Whilst these are the main duties expected, other duties will be given and an overall competence in general HR is required.

The Person

Education & Experience

  • Experience of FMCG or another genuinely fast-paced environment
  • A professional educational qualification in HR
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a generalist role
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including presentation skills
  • A genuine multi-tasker, completer-finisher
  • Strong PC Skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft office with advanced excel level
