The Role

HR Manager

Maynooth, Co. Kildare

Permanent 

Salary: €60,000 - €70,000

Hybrid working 

 

  • Take charge off all regional HR activities including but not limited to employee relations, payroll, policies and procedures, immigration, recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management, wellbeing & engagement, retention, compensation & benefits, etc.
  • Work closely with and advise the regional leadership team
  • Provide coaching and guidance to line managers in relation to HR issues
  • Manage the HR and Training budgets
  • Liaise and collaborate with other offices within Europe as part of a European HR team
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives in relation to employee engagement, culture, training & development, etc.
  • Makes recommendations regarding improvements to current HR processes and procedures and implements when agreed
  • Management of external consults including but not limited to payroll vendor in supporting jurisdictions
  • Has demonstrated best practice in all aspects of HR with a particular focus on Employee Relations, Talent Management; Change Management; coupled with a good HRIS background
  • Strong HR Policy and Procedure experience with a proven ability in reviewing developing and monitoring procedures to ensure continued compliance with legislative requirements and Company standards.
  • Proven ability of working across all levels of the organisation particularly senior C-suite executive management.
  • Proven success across HR project management and implementation
  • Good business and financial acumen.

 

The Person

Education and Experience

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent work experience) with at least 5 years’ experience working in an autonomous generalist HR role, ideally in an international technically- focused organisation
  • CIPD qualification is desirable
  • Results-focused, hands-on style
  • Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality and trust
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential. A second European language or ability in Japanese is a benefit.
  • Advance working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Workday experience beneficial
  • Excellent up to date knowledge of employment and immigration legislation
  • Self-motivated & resilient with the capacity to work under pressure
  • The ability to analyse data to solve complex problems, anticipate outcomes & support decision-making
  • Strong organisational skills, including planning and time management
  • Dual Location between Ireland and allocation regions; willingness to travel required (Circa 30%)
