The Role

HR Administrator

Permanent

Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

Salary: €30,000 - €32,000

1 day working from home 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the HR Ticketing workflow and acting as the first point of contact for all people queries and requests.
  • Act as a gatekeeper to the integrity of people data on the current system (TMS) to support an effective people experience and the introduction of better systems and ways of working.
  • Liaising with Health partners to schedule appointments and coordinate with employees on their  attendance.
  • Correspondence support incl. employee relations support (discipline & grievance, long term sick absence etc. ensuring accurate case management records in compliance with the legislation.
  • Collaborating with our payroll department to ensure that all starters, leavers, movers, and weekly payroll amendments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reporting on people metrics such as Headcount, absence, turnover, length of service.
  • Provide good quality data and insights to support business improvement and problem solving.
  • Strong working relationships with team to provide excellent customer service and represent our team across the business with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner. Collaborate and positively contribute to the People & Culture team to leverage experience/practices within the team and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Use technology to support internal customer contact through effective use of Microsoft Office, Teams, the HR Ticketing system, our SharePoint, and outlook.
  • Administrative support such as contract generation, pay changes, personal details changes, letter generation etc. Preparation of forms and meeting with colleagues to guide them through statutory leave applications.
  • Liaising with our new team members to ensure that their onboarding and integration into the business is seamless and inclusive. Providing clarity on HR Policy and procedures and participating in  the organisation and delivery of induction.
  • Role model our values and guiding principles in all your interactions with colleagues.
  • Support where required of organisation effectiveness and culture change initiatives, including:
  • The administration and reporting on our Net Promoter Score.
  • Participating in engagement initiatives with our values team.
  • Supporting the organisation and admin of our employee recognition programme.

Previous Experience:

  • 1-2 years HR administrative experience in a HR Team, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

Other:

  • Immediate right to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
  • Full clean drivers’ licence and own transport required.
  • Relevant Human Resources qualification (CIPD or other) advantageous
