Warehouse Operator (manage the Warehouse)
Location - Citywest
Permanent position
Salary - €42,000 - €45,000 DOE
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operator to join our clients team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations, managing equipment and spare parts, and supporting their engineering team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and control warehouse stock, including equipment and spare parts
- Load and offload vehicles, including scheduling transportation when required
- Receive stock deliveries from suppliers, both physically and within internal systems
- Accurately store stock in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare and issue spare parts for engineer collection
- Maintain appropriate stock levels, particularly for fast-moving items (weekly reviews)
- Place purchase orders with group and third-party suppliers
- Ensure engineers hold correct stock levels at all times
- Coordinate daily dispatch of stock to engineers
- Manage recycling and scrapping of parts where necessary
- Carry out weekly stock checks and inventory control
The Person
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Valid forklift truck licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience, including stock control and general upkeep
- Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Full clean driving licence
