Job Description
An established organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts & Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will provide essential support across office operations, accounting functions, and general administration. Duties will include coordinating office activities, assisting with financial processes, and supporting internal teams.
Reporting To: Managing Director
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
Work Environment: Professional office-based role

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process bi-monthly VAT returns
• Prepare and submit quarterly RCT and VIES returns
• Manage debtors and creditors ledgers
• Perform bookkeeping duties using Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Excel
• Maintain office supplies, including ordering and liaising with vendors
• Assist with diary and calendar management for technical staff
• Provide administrative support for ongoing projects
• Assist with document preparation and presentations
• Screen and respond to incoming calls, emails, and post
• Support senior management with administrative tasks
• Maintain health & safety documentation
• Carry out general ad-hoc administrative duties
The Person
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Office Administrator or Accounts Assistant role within a professional environment
• Proven experience using Sage 50 Accounts software
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
• Professional manner and presentation
• Positive, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude
• Good written and communication skills
