The Role

Finance Manager - South Dublin


We would require the person to work onsite for the first 6 months, after which time we will review the working arrangements.

Reporting to: CFO

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of the Group Consolidated Management Accounts
Assisting the CFO and Managing a Team of 3 (Accountants & Accounts Payable)
Working with the finance team to manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company
Responsibility for financial reporting including global tax returns
Cashflow , Treasury management and reporting
Preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the group
Review & track daily operational reporting, investigating variances as they arise
Ensure AP processes are adhered to
Continuous improvement on reporting, processes & procedures within the finance function and across the business
Management & prepare of the monthly payroll and oversight of the weekly payroll and all global payrolls.
Preparation and timely filing of all regulatory and statistical reporting requirements.
Management of annual audit for the group. Engaging with auditors to ensure information requests are fulfilled and queries resolved
Manage employee performance, giving regular feedback
Support the key strategic projects within the group
Regular review of month end and year end processes to identify efficiency improvements and improved turnaround times
Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations have been completed and reviewed
Managing the chart of accounts and the month end process to ensure transactions are appropriately categorised to enable production of information for internal and external stakeholders
Development of KPIs and reporting thereon for the finance function

The Person


Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
3 years' post qualification experience
Supervisory Management experience and strong people management skills
Payroll Experience
Excellent communication skills
Be present in office 5 days a week for the first 6 months (after probationary period Hybrid working can take place with a minimum of 3 days in office)
