The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a Transport and Logistics Administrator in Co. Kildare.
This is a permanent role.
Fully office based
Main duties:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the transport and logistics department
- Prepare and manage delivery documents and proof of delivery documentation on the group’s transport management systems (TMS) with delivery data
- Handle customer queries regarding delivery times, order status, or transport issues
- Maintain and update the TMS when required to ensure compliance with health & safety and legislation data
- Direct incoming calls
The Person
- Experience in logistics and office administration (1–3 years preferred)
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities
- Knowledge of transport documentation and delivery processes
- Ability to work effectively with the existing team in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience using a Transport Management System an advantage
- An effective team player who demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through to completion of tasks
