Payroll Officer
5 month contract
Carlow.
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 from home
Salary: €35,000
The Financial Operations Officer in Payroll will have responsibility for the Payroll and Travel and Subsistence function in Finance Department including, but not limited to (i) operation of the payroll and related functionality of the People XD integrated HR and Payroll System to ensure that all staff and pensioners are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with legislation, and (ii) processing of approved travel and subsistence expense claims including the operation of the e-Expenses functionality of the Integra integrated finance system to ensure that claims are paid on time and in accordance with policies and regulations.
They will report to the Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver payroll services ito include payment of wages, salaries and pensions
• Payroll transaction processing on time and in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Respond to employee and pensioner queries regarding pay promptly and courteously.
• Ensure that Travel and Subsistence expenses are paid on time and provide assistance/support to colleagues in relation to claiming expenses.
Qualifications:
• Level 5 Qualification, i.e. Leaving Certificate or equivalent examination.
• At least 2-3 years administration experience.
