Part-Qualified Accountant
Location: Lucan
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
€40,000 - €45,000
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Management Accounts for multiple sites, working to tight reporting deadlines.
• Manage period-end routines and journal entries across various locations.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and contribute to Group Reporting.
• Oversee weekly cash office controls.
• Prepare and submit Revenue returns within required deadlines.
• Support interim and year-end audits, acting as the primary contact for auditor queries.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement across the business.
• Serve as a point of contact for store-related financial queries.
• Undertake additional ad hoc duties as required.
The Person
Essential:
• Part-Qualified Accountant working toward ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance function.
• Driven self-starter with a strong interest in progressing within the organisation.
• Strong attention to detail and solid analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of initiative and a results-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly large data sets.
Desirable:
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV, or Oracle financial systems.
• Experience in manual cash management and reconciliation.
