Senior Accounts Assistant
Maynooth - Permanent
Salary: €50,000 + Benefits
Office Based
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.
They must be proficient in RCT Administration and UK Tax
Strong Excel skills and a working knowledge of ERP Systems are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Sales Invoicing, Debtors Ledger Management, Account Maintenance, Cash Receipt Postings
- Month End Reconciliations of Supplier Statements, Bank Accounts and Ledger close offs.
- Banking arrangements including Electronic Funds Transfers
- Taxation – VAT, PAYE, RCT, CIS and dealing with Revenue Queries. Both Irish and UK.
- Monthly, Year End and Ad hoc reconciliations
- VAT Reconciliations, Intrastat reports
The Person
Key Skills:
- An experienced hire with extensive knowledge of Construction and General Accounting systems. An accounting qualification would be a plus.
- A working knowledge of Taxation systems both Irish and UK including ROS, HMRC.
- Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, good time management, and good organisational and problem solving, skills.
- Candidates must also be proficient in MS Office especially Excel and have a working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Candidates should also be fluent in English and be able to interact as part of a team to strict deadlines as well as work on their own initiative
