Duties And Responsibilities
- Functionally lead the HR department within the Company
- Support the Group Head of People in the development and delivering of the HR strategy for the Organisation
- Responsible for internal communication
- Oversee all recruitment and selection for the property, including internal hiring and succession planning.
- Drive Training and Development amongst the staff to ensure that our talent is ready to take the next steps in their careers.
- Act as a brand ambassador and role model for the organisation looking beyond the HR team and act in accordance with overall business strategy.
- Ensure that the structure and resources are properly aligned to achieve all department and business objectives
- Maintain a high-quality central HR function, including appropriate technology, systems, and tools, including the use of metrics and people data to inform key decisions.
- Drive the engagement strategy.
- Proactive management of IR and ER issues.
- Maintain employee compliance standards, including proper HR Records and documentation.
- Oversee the payroll budget and processing, through the Time and Attendance systems.
The Person
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in a HR management role.
- Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
- 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar. CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Experience in driving employee engagement.
- Experience of payroll and cost management.
- Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
- Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
- Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
- Strong commercial/business acumen
