The Role
Our client, a Large Multinational is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant, Senior Specialist.
his role is a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract with the flexibility of hybrid working
This is a board & varied Financial Accountant role which will cover Financial reporting, Fixed asset accounting, analysis of key financial information and assisting with budget and forecasting
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Control of legal entity revenue reporting including monthly/quarterly accruals
• Completion of Month end reporting including journal bookings, royalty reporting, FX analysis and coordination of intercompany cross-charges with multiple trading partners
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review and monthly SOX control checks
• Working closely with Finance Manager on analysis of project spend and accruals and provision of data for budget and projection cycles
• Provide support for fixed asset accounting/asset creation and support projects across fixed assets, project accounting and leasing
• Respond to ad-hoc information requests from local and global business partners
• Initiate, lead and manage process improvement projects
The Person
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:
• A qualified accountant with 2/3 years of experience in financial accounting/analysis and month end reporting
• Ability to work in a cross functional team in a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results
• Must be able to communicate effectively within the team and with business partners and have an excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of US GAAP as well as local accounting principles
• Strong IT skills essential and SAP transactional knowledge desirable
