Main duties:
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction;
• Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business;
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers;
• Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases;
• Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs;
• Generate leads and prospective customers;
• Maintain contact with all Customers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by building trust, communicating effectively, drive execution, collaborating with others, solving problems creatively and demonstrating high integrity;
• Liaise and work effectively with internal teams;
• Help to plan sales campaigns;
• Create a sales pipeline;
The Person
• Experience working in a business development/sales role with the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of developing new business and meeting (and exceeding) sales targets;
• Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets;
• Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships;
