Operations Manager – Warehouse & Distribution

Our client is expanding their services with a temperature-controlled warehouse for medicinal products and are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Specialist to help deliver outstanding service to our clients.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring service levels are consistently exceeded through strong operational planning, effective team leadership, and excellent stakeholder communication. Reporting to the COO, this role offers real career progression for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high service levels
• Lead and support warehouse, customer service, and driver teams
• Oversee inventory control, quality assurance, productivity, and space management
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Monitor and report performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
• Ensure full use of WMS technology, including end-to-end stock traceability
• Drive continuous improvement, safety standards, and operational excellence

The Person

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
• Experience and background in a Temperature Controlled environment a major advantage
• Strong knowledge of WMS systems (experience with cloud-based systems preferred)
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
• Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
