The Role

Senior Financial Accountant

12 Month Contract 
Location: Dublin, Ireland (hybrid)
Reports to: Finance Manager

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Manage the month-end close process and commentary on all accounts within the area of responsibility.
Preparation of local statutory financial accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Liaising with the US team on financial results including month-end close and budget submissions.
Completing Personnel/Allowance reporting including reconciliation and quarterly rebalancing.
Assisting the Country Manager on customer audits.
Assisting with local legal statutory compliance (quarterly/annual reporting).
Management of key balance sheet accounts.
Assisting with the Tax Advisor & Third-Party Provider.
Liaising with payroll teams on financial matters.
Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Assisting with the automation of financial processes.
Participating in ad hoc projects and queries.

Skills & Experience
Qualifications / Certifications:
Accounting qualification: CIMA, ACCA (2–3 years PQE)
Experience required:
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic finance environment.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Confident user of SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Experience with US GAAP (advantageous).
