The Role

his position is permanent and hybrid in Kildare, and would offer the opportunity to work with a range of clients, from small businesses to corporate entities. As a fully qualified accountant, you will have independence in client management and ample growth opportunities to become a team leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and accounting documents
  • Provide accurate bookkeeping services and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Perform financial analysis and offer valuable insights to clients
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support junior team members

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice in Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
  • Aspirations to grow and become a team leader
