The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Project Coordinator in Carlow.
Fully office based role.
Salary up to €40,000
Main duties:

Maintain and control all project documentation, including timelines, checklists, status logs, and structured project folders.

Coordinate and support design reviews, tool kick-off meetings, customer meetings, and cross-functional touchpoints.

Capture meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure follow-up on decisions and deliverables.

Prepare, update, and distribute CPMP reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Track KPIs and provide weekly updates on project progress, risks, delays, and escalations.

Assist in the rollout and adoption of digital tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to improve program visibility.

Work with cross-functional teams to support digitisation of reporting, approvals, templates, and workflows.

Support Engineering Managers by coordinating activities across departments including toolroom, design, process, and sales.

Liaise with customers regarding document updates, reporting requirements, and meeting logistics.

Ensure alignment of internal teams on program milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

Identify gaps or inefficiencies in project tracking and recommend improvements.

Maintain standard documentation templates and support onboarding and training of new team members.

Contribute to lessons learned documentation and post-program reviews.

Obtain supplier quotations and assist with pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial discussions where required.

Issue, track, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.

Coordinate with Accounting to resolve purchase order discrepancies or supplier issues.

Monitor back-ordered items and maintain communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate and organised purchasing and supplier records.
-
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives through documentation and follow-up.

Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and plant regulations.
The Person
-
Post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

3–5 years’ experience in a project coordination role, ideally within an automotive, manufacturing, or tooling environment.

Strong organisational skills with proven experience in document control and project tracking.

Proficiency in Excel and experience using project management tools

High attention to detail with strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
