The Role

Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Procurement Assistant in Co. Meath. 

This is a permanent, full time role 

Fully office based 

€35,000 - €40,000 

Key Responsibilities

  • Placing PO’s daily for multiple suppliers and subcontractors
  • Sourcing potential suppliers, providing information & requesting quotations
  • Setting up new suppliers/subcontractors on system
  • Liaising with accounts to solve invoice queries
  • Master data entry

 

The Person

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with purchase orders, supplier management, and quotations
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments and with external suppliers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using ERP or procurement systems is desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving invoice or supplier queries
