Hybrid Working Model

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis.

Candidates need to be studying towards professional exams such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA

Strong IT Skills including Excel will be required for the role.

 

The client is offering a hybrid working model which is three days in the office and two days at home.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month end accounting for Group Division, including preparation of month end journals, balance sheet reconciliation and monthly reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of GL entries in compliance with group policy.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller with monthly reports for review by senior management and Board.
  • Assist with preparation of pension Fund accounts and the Pension Fund Audit.
  • Provide support during the Group statutory audit of the annual financial statements, preparing schedules and gathering information as requested.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Group Division annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Manage completion of iXBRL tax submission and assist in other tax processes as required.
  • Help ensure tax returns are filed on a timely basis, that tax liabilities are minimised and that the Group is tax compliant.
  • Assist with the Treasury process, including the set up and processing of payments and preparation of daily reports.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller and Group Financial Accountant with additional requests as required.

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Business Studies or Accounting and Finance and studying towards a professional ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Agresso and PowerPoint.
