The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Operations Manager in Kells, Co. Meath.
Permanent, full time role
Fully office based
Salary €70,000 - €80,000 DOE
Main duties:
• Manage daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Co-ordinate operational activities across departments to meet company objectives and deadlines.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and service provider relationships.
• Ensure company resources, facilities, and equipment are maintained effectively.
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and updates for senior management.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and resource planning activities.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of operational staff.
• Lead and support teams to ensure high performance and strong employee engagement.
• Manage on-going projects.
• Manage ISO standards, Health and Safety Standards, and the company’s Environmental Licence.
The Person
• Experience in Operations/Production Management in manufacturing, waste management, recycling or industrial roles.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Sound understanding of environmental sustainability practices.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in waste management
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience supporting or managing Health & Safety, Quality and Environment functions within a workplace environment.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject
• Relevant experience
• 5 years plus in management.
