Management Accountant - Naas
Permanent - HYBRID
Reporting to: Managing Director
Working days for this role are. Monday – Friday 9.00 - 5.30
Main Duties include:
• Preparation of month end accounts and reports for review
• Preparation of month end reporting pack which will include KPI and variance analysis and providing commentary on analysis and trends.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including inventory management.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Audit preparation and coordinate all audit processes and related queries in a timely fashion.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with the budget/forecast process for the business.
• Preparation and filing of bi-monthly VAT and monthly P30 Returns. Ensure Revenue compliance.
• Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency within areas of responsibility.
• Transaction processing (journals etc)
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.
The Person
Role Requirements:
• Qualified accountant with at least 2 + years’ experience in commercial or management accounting
• Microsoft NAV experience beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial and analytical skills
