The Role

HR Manager

Dublin 22


  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Monitor internal HR systems, processes and databases
  • Review and approve or modify budgets and targets for the H.R. operation
  • Design and implement company policies and ensure they are applied consistently
  • Maintain company organisation charts and employee directory
  • Monitor key HR metrics
  • Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
  • Create detailed reports on HR costs
  • Recommend new software to address personnel needs, like performance review tools
  • Address employees’ queries (e.g. on compensation and labour regulations)
  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, & hiring
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all statutory regulations
  • Implement and oversee effective onboarding
  • Plan and/or host workforce performance reviews and appraisals
  • Site Operations, People movements
  • Policy Development and Implementation
  • Managing Performance Management cycle and use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Absence Management
  • Payroll Reporting
  • Ensure compliancy with rules and regulations
  • Develop and keep current the Employee Company Handbook
  • Managing layered learning and development programmes
  • Maintain Employee Records and Administration

The Person

  • Level 8 in HR/ Business related degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ post graduate experience in similar role
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Advance Systems (Mitrefinch) experience desirable
  • Construction Industry Experience desirable
  • Solution Focused
  • Excellent Organisation skills
