Finance Administrator
Newbridge - Permanent
Salary: €32,000
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong Credit Control experience will be required for this position.
Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility of Credit Control which includes:
- Processing of Sales Invoices and receipts
- Issuing Invoices and Credit notes to our customers
- Requesting and following up on payments that are due
- Issuing Customer statements on a monthly basis
- Reconciling Bank Ledger Transactions
- Completing Monthly Debtors & Bank Reconciliations
- Dealing with account queries by phone and email
- Ensuring the debtors ledger is managed and any issues are resolved efficiently
- Ensure intercompany transactions are transacted and reconciled on a monthly basis
- Updating Cashflow reports daily and issue to the Senior Management team
- Monitoring and maintaining the cash controls in our Retail Shop
- Assisting in the completion of the month end accounts process
- Completing basic administration tasks as required in the Finance Office.
- Occasional Holiday & sick cover for other Finance Team members
The Person
Key Skills:
- Key skill set required – Confidence, Self-management, Decisiveness, Initiative, Problem-solving and Adaptability
- Good computer skills would be expected, and advanced knowledge of Excel is essential
- Experience of an ERP system is essential, but SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent organisational & administration skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written – English language)
- Good team player with ability to multi-task
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious individual required
