The Role

Finance Administrator

Newbridge - Permanent

Salary: €32,000

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

 

Strong Credit Control experience will be required for this position.

Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility of Credit Control which includes:
  • Processing of Sales Invoices and receipts
  • Issuing Invoices and Credit notes to our customers
  • Requesting and following up on payments that are due
  • Issuing Customer statements on a monthly basis
  • Reconciling Bank Ledger Transactions
  • Completing Monthly Debtors & Bank Reconciliations
  • Dealing with account queries by phone and email
  • Ensuring the debtors ledger is managed and any issues are resolved efficiently
  • Ensure intercompany transactions are transacted and reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Updating Cashflow reports daily and issue to the Senior Management team
  • Monitoring and maintaining the cash controls in our Retail Shop
  • Assisting in the completion of the month end accounts process
  • Completing basic administration tasks as required in the Finance Office.
  • Occasional Holiday & sick cover for other Finance Team members

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Key skill set required – Confidence,  Self-management, Decisiveness,  Initiative, Problem-solving and Adaptability
  • Good computer skills would be expected, and advanced knowledge of Excel is essential
  • Experience of an ERP system is essential, but SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent organisational & administration skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written – English language)
  • Good team player with ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious individual required
