The Role

Title: Accounts Manager
Part Time – Five mornings 9.00am – 1.00pm
Salary – €60,000 - €70,000 pro rata
Reports to: Head of Finance

Location: Dublin C2  – possibility to work remotely after initial training period with requirement to be present in office twice a month

The Role:

Hands on role covering many aspects of the finance function.

Integral part of a small finance team
Account Payable
• Oversee the full AP function, including processing, coding and entering supplier invoices
• Manage supplier accounts and perform monthly statement reconciliations
• Prepare and process bi – weekly payment runs in a timely and accurate manner
• Visa card and staff expense management
• Maintain strong controls over expenditure
General Financial Support
• Perform bank account reconciliations (daily/ monthly)
• Treasury - Cash forecasting and management
• Monitor costs for numerous departments
• Responsibility for preparing and submitting statistical returns
• Responsibility for preparing and submitting ROI Vat returns
End to End Payroll Management (80+ Staff)
• Manage the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing for over 60 employees
• Process all employee changes: new starters, leavers, transfers, and amendments to hours, pay rates, and benefits
• Ensure full compliance with Irish Revenue Real-Time Reporting (RTR) obligations, including timely submission of Payroll Submission Requests (PSR) via ROS
• Calculate and process all statutory and non-statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT, pensions, and sick/leave payments)

 

The Person

• Experience : minimum 3/5 years’ experience assisting a Finance Manager (payroll / AP, general book keeping duties) in industry
• Irish legislation knowledge – must have hands on experience managing payroll within Ireland to demonstrate a strong understanding of Irish tax, revenue and payroll legislation (PAYE, PRSI, USC ROS)
• High proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Take Ownership of their work and delivers to a high standard
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team
• Ability to deliver tangible results within agreed tight deadlines
• Keen attention to detail
