Assistant Financial Accountant

Salary: €45,000 - €65,000

Office Based Role

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Candidates can be at final stages of their professional exams or a newly qualified Accountant.

 

Strong Excel skills are required for this role.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysing and investigating variances
• Monthly bloodstock reconciliations.
• Annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors
• Financial analysis and financial support to the business
• Continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems development projects
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required

The Person

Key Skills:

• Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with financial accounting and reporting systems
• Aptitude to learn, willingness to progress and ability to assume responsibility
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with senior management
