Payroll Specialist - Hybrid role 2 days in the office per week
Payroll Specialist
• Working hours 36 hours (9 to 5.30 M-T and 9 to 4.00 Fri)
• Annual leave 22 days
• Benefits: pension up to 9% matching ER contribution, parking, hybrid working, life cover, Christmas voucher, discretionary bonus after 1 year - payable June
• Hybrid Working – 2 Days a week currently
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for clients.
• Calculating and entering all amendments either via import or manually e.g. starters, leavers, RPNS, allowances, deductions, etc.
• Dealing with general queries by phone and email regarding, net pay calculations, VHI, pension, AVC’s, BIK etc
• Liaising with clients regarding payroll issues.
• Generating payslips, reports and checking balances and dispatch to clients.
• Strict adherence to timetables for payments and ISO procedures
• Tax Filing and Payment administration on ROS
• Assisting with absence cover within the team
Experience Required:
• Bureau experience an advantage
• Extensive understanding of latest payroll legislation
• Knowledge of ROS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Outlook and Excel
• Highly organised and motivated to provide a first-class payroll service to our clients
