Part Qualified Accountant

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis.

Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

 

Experience using Sage Accounts would be a distinct advantage

A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing the bi-monthly and quarterly VAT return
• Monthly Management Accounts under the supervision of the Finance Manager
• Balance Sheet reconciliation of all accounts
• Reviewing stock requirements for all stock daily, generating purchase orders for stock requirements and emailing to suppliers
• Reconciling the supplier stock invoices to orders and receipts through the Sage system and posting invoices
• Checking all non-stock invoices and posting in Sage
• Reconciling Supplier statements monthly so payments can be processed
• CSO and Revenue reports monthly
• Responsible for the Sage stock system, pricing and category codes etc
• Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

The Person

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified role for at least 2 years
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
• Experience in Excel essential
• Sage experience is desirable
