The Role

Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a role in Co. Meath.

This is a permanent, full time role

Fully office based

Salary up to €45,000

Main duties:

 

  • Prepare and price accurate quotes and costings for projects including large tender packages, new builds, retrofit works, contractor projects, and private residential customers.

  • Produce individual quotations based on Salesperson/Surveyor site surveys or customer-provided information such as drawings, images, specifications, and measurements.

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders for the supply and installation of windows and doors on new construction projects, ensuring all commercial documentation is completed accurately.

  • Manage and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs), including the preparation and submission of payment claims.

  • Record, price, and manage contract variations, ensuring all changes are documented and communicated correctly.

  • Review and log snags, damages, and replacement items identified on site, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

  • Liaise closely with the accounts department to ensure pricing, invoicing, and payment claims are aligned.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and fitting teams to ensure orders are processed correctly and projects are supported through to completion.

The Person

  • Construction industry experience is essential, with windows and doors industry experience a strong advantage.

  • Previous experience in a QS support, estimating, sales administration, or commercial administration role.

  • Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and survey information.

  • Experience working with costings, BOQs, tender documentation, and variations.

  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes and tenders simultaneously.

  • Confident communicator, capable of liaising effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office systems.

  • Ability to work in a fully office-based role as part of a collaborative team.
