Our client is excited to be launching a brand-new ecommerce fulfilment operation in Ireland, supporting the sale and distribution of live plants. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level and play a pivotal role in building and shaping a growing operation.

As Stock / Warehouse Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day fulfilment activities on site. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that stock is managed accurately, orders are processed efficiently, and dispatch operations run smoothly and on time.

While strategic direction and commercial oversight are led by our UK Head Office, this role is the trusted, accountable lead on the ground in Ireland—ensuring high standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for daily fulfilment operations
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and within SLA timelines
  • Maintain clear oversight and control of all on-site activities
  • Lead from the front in picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Ensure careful handling and quality control, particularly for live plant products
  • Manage daily workflow, prioritisation, and output
  • Own stock accuracy and inventory processes
  • Oversee goods-in, stock checks, and reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively
  • Implement and uphold operational processes set by UK Head Office
  • Maintain consistency, structure, and efficiency
  • Provide practical feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective use of warehouse and order management systems (e.g. Linnworks)
  • Maintain accurate data and order flow
  • Act as the first point of contact for operational or system issues
  • Manage relationships with delivery partners
  • Ensure correct service selection and timely dispatch
  • Monitor performance and escalate issues where necessary

 

The Person

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in fulfilment, warehouse, or ecommerce operations (senior or supervisory level)
  • Strong track record of ownership, reliability, and accountability
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with sound judgement
  • Experience with WMS/OMS systems (e.g. Linnworks) is an advantage
