Management Accountant
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in the office)
Job Type: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a busy and growing finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers excellent exposure across a large finance function and is ideal for a recently qualified or nearly qualified accountant looking to further develop their commercial finance experience.
You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts for senior management and Board review.
- Produce month-end financial reports, including analysis and commentary.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Assist with weekly accounts preparation and KPI reporting.
- Support the year-end audit process, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to enhance day-to-day operational reporting.
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and tax reporting obligations.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Carry out ad hoc financial analysis and project work as required.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure financial plans align with business objectives.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting.
The Person
- Professionally qualified or nearly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant third-level qualification is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using accounting software and financial management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
