The Role

Financial Controller - Permanent

West Dublin

Reporting to: MD Ireland

Role Summary:
Full operational responsibility for all, budgeting, financial planning/reporting and forecasting of IE business

Key responsibilities:

• Control and manage all financial reporting of IE
o Monthly & yearly closing
• Owner of yearly planning process & quarterly forecasting
• Owner of DSO & DPO report card and follow-up actions
• Drive business analytics for continuous business improvements
• Direct command over +4 people within IE Finance
o Accounting, Controlling and Analytics
• Active participation of the overall development of Business Unit
o Professional, Engaged, Openness & Building together

Key competences:

• Strong controlling & accounting skills from larger listed company
o with own production
o with intl internal pricing regime
• Strong in EU accounting/taxation laws and regulations
• Strong business analytics and easy to understand business



The Person

Solid understanding on construction law and construction business
• 10-15 years of experience of business control & accounting
• Min 5 years of experience as Head & Controlling/Accounting
o Company + 10M.Euro
o Industrial goods/Building material sector
• Min 5 years as Head of Department
• Strong MS Excel competence


• Professional Accounting Qualification ACCA/FCCA similar
• And or University degree of Bachelor/Masters level
• Relevant managerial Work experience with executive education is an alternative
