The Role
Company Accountant - Based in Baldonnel
Reporting to Financial Controller
Permanent role
• Ensure all local legal, tax and statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled including liaising with local and group auditors.
• Work on Annual Budget process and Forecasts – make sure each department own their numbers.
• Drive and Implement process improvements throughout the company.
• Manage VAT, Intrastat, RCT returns
• Be a key player in any system implementations -Improve usage of Sage Financial System
• Work with professional advisers on Company Pension scheme & Insurance policies
• Review levels of working capital in the company to ensure it is kept at optimum levels in order to maximize cash flow.
• Implement Group Finance initiatives in the company, monitor progress and report back status and deviations from plan.
The Person
Key competences:
• Qualified Accountant with minimum 2 years Industry experience
• Previous Construction industry experience would be a distinct advantage
• • Exceptional business acumen-numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability and Stress resistance -used to working with tight reporting deadline
• Commercial and cost-conscious attitude
• Excellent communicator internally and with Customers
The Package
Package
• Basic Salary up to €NEG depending on experience
• Performance Related Bonus of 10% of Basic Salary
