Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be based in our head office in Swords, Co. Dublin and work as part of the finance function. The Group finance team are responsible for all financial accounting, statutory/regulatory reporting and commercial reporting information for the Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Lead Accountant with responsibility for all commercial reporting across the  Group of Companies, including consolidated reporting to the Group
• Maintain full ownership and end-to-end management of all commercial reporting processes
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Ensure all commercial & financial reporting deadlines are consistently met across the Group
• Produce accurate and timely monthly financial information, ensuring consistency across reports and providing detailed supporting schedules as required
• Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial finance reports and support FP&A activities as required such as variance analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts
• Support the preparation of consolidated annual budgets and forecasts across the Group
• Lead and implement improvements in reporting processes, including the transition and enhancement of reporting within Power BI & Lucanet.
• Oversee and administer local legal entities as required
• Support the team in the annual audit process

 

The Person

• ACA or ACCA Qualified accountant, with 3+ years’ relevant experience post qualification
• Strong financial & commercial reporting experience a must have
• FP&A experience or exposure to commercial finance activities is an advantage
• Commercially astute with strong analytical skillset and the ability to extract meaningful insights from financial data
• Construction/Manufacturing experience or experience in a multi-national company is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance teams
• Strong attention to detail and professional integrity
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Dynamic’s, Power BI, & JET is an advantage
• A second European language (e.g. Portuguese, French, Spanish) is advantageous but not essential
