Accounts Processing Team Lead

The Accounts Processing Team Lead will lead the team responsible for all accounts transaction processing within the business. This role will manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable and Banking transactions as well as supporting Month End close and Balance Sheet Reconciliations. The key focus will be to ensure that all transactions are processed in an accurate, effective, and efficient manner. This role will also work very closely with Operations and other business functions therefore the ability to communicate effectively is required.
Duties:
Accounts Payable:
- Manage accounts Outlook inbox to ensure tasks are allocated to the Team.
- Ensure supplier invoices are posted accurately and in a timely manner (c1,300 invoices per month)
- Manage the Invoice and PO matching process, working closely with procurement/product receipts, to avoid delays to invoice processing.
- Process bi-monthly supplier payment runs.
- Reconcile larger supplier accounts monthly and oversee all supplier reconciliations.
- Ensure that all supplier queries are resolved.
Accounts Receivable:
- Ensure that customer invoices are issued accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage the Aged Debtors ledger with prompt follow-up of any customer balances that are overdue.
- Ensure that all customer queries are resolved.
Banking:
- Ensure that all bank transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations at the end of the month.
- Reconciling and posting the credit card accounts
Other Duties:
- Supporting the senior finance manager during month end and annual financial audit through the preparation of reports and ad hoc supporting documentation relevant to your areas of responsibility.Support CFO/ senior finance manager with any other duties, as reasonably requested.
The Person
Requirements:
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in busy accounts department, including Team Lead experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and can work unsupervised.
- Ability to work across departments and experience with process implementations.
- A bookkeeping or accounts technician qualification would be an advantage.

Salary: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
