The Role
Audit Senior - Dublin 2
Permanent
Hybrid - ( 3 days office based, 2 days from home)
Reporting directly to the partners, the candidate will be responsible for meeting the compliance requirements of a varied client portfolio
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Taking full ownership of the process from planning through completion for a wide range of audit assignments
Supervising and assisting with the preparation of audit exempt financial statements and periodic management accounts
Liaising with your colleagues in our tax and company secretarial departments
Acting as the initial point of contact for some clients and developing strong relationships with those clients
Supporting the tax team with the accounting aspects of advisory work
Involvement in budgeting and identifying value add opportunities
Business development – attending proposal meetings
The candidate will also have the opportunity to work on ad-hoc advisory projects
Preparation of integrated financial projections
Financial and systems reviews
Assisting clients in dealing with banks – finance applications / periodic reporting / restructuring
Company reorganisations
The Person
ACA qualified with strong audit and accounting experience who wishes to build a career in practice
Enthusiastic and hard-working with excellent communication skills
Good commercial acumen
Committed to exceeding client expectations
Excellent IT skills
Knowledge of CCH Accounts, CCH Audit, Sage 50 an advantage
