The Role

Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Senior Office Administrator in Mullingar.

This is a permanent, full time role

Fully office based

€40,000 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the smooth day-to-day operation of the office, maintaining a professional, organised and productive environment.

  • Develop, implement and maintain office systems, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for office-related enquiries and support needs.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, utilities and building management.

  • Oversee office budgets, supplies, consumables and general procurement requirements.

  • Take responsibility for coordinating and managing all facilities associated with office operations.

  • Manage subcontractor administration and ensure all compliance documentation is maintained.

  • Ensure company archiving procedures meet contractual obligations and uphold document control standards.

  • Provide administrative support to Directors as required.

  • Ensure Head Office Health and Safety policies and procedures remain compliant and are effectively communicated.

  • Maintain clear communication between Head Office and site teams.

  • Coordinate internal meetings and support the organisation of employee events and client hospitality.

Main requirements: 

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior administrative position.

  • Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar industry is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organised with a collaborative working style.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in the MS Office suite.

  • Proven ability to manage and oversee office operations effectively.

  • Capable of remaining calm, professional and effective in high-pressure situations.

  • Demonstrates initiative with the ability to anticipate office requirements and meet deadlines.

  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a strong team-player approach.
