Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Health and Safety Advisor in North Co. Kildare
Permanent, full time role
Hybrid after probation is passed
Salary depending on experience
Main duties:

Carry out routine site inspections, risk assessments, and audits across multiple client locations throughout Ireland.

Prepare, review, and update safety documentation tailored to each site, including Safety Statements, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.

Lead accident and incident investigations, producing comprehensive reports that identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Advocate for and implement preventative and remedial measures to maintain a safe working environment.

Provide competent health and safety guidance, training, and ongoing support to management and employees.

Support the organisation in achieving and maintaining compliance with HSE legislation and industry best practices.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company during client site visits, inspections, and audits.

Foster a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement across all operations.
The Person
• Strong initiative with ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Be full familiar with all health and safety legislation and practical implementation
• Previous experience in developing and delivering health and safety training programmes
• Excellent communicator to all stakeholders
• Must be available to travel within the island of Ireland as required
• Demonstrate excellence in time management
