Talent Acquisition Partner (People & Culture Team - Hybrid Working)


Based in Kildare

Our client has a unique new opportunity in the Talent Acquisition Partner role to be accountable alongside the business leaders for identifying and attracting the best talent in the market. This successful candidate will have the objective of developing a trusted centre of expertise which is of critical importance to the business. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture the TA Partner will be given autonomy and opportunity to make a significant business impact in a dynamic and supportive Food Manufacturing environment. This role will be hybrid remote / site based in Kildare / Westmeath with an opportunity to avail of flexible work practices.

• Work as a trusted partner to your stakeholder groups across our sites and functions playing a key role in guiding, coaching and influencing leaders and managers to develop a fit for future talent attraction strategy for our business to deliver our growth strategy. Partner with these stakeholders to identify suitable attraction, retention and development methods and approaches.
• With the wider People & Culture team develop and deploy a strategy which focuses on building awareness and appreciation of the employer brand both internally and in market addressing our high volume and multi disciplinary talent needs as required.
• Work with HR Business Partners to market benchmark salaries, benefits and reward - keeping abreast of progressive talent strategies and market developments.
• Grow and manage relationships with trusted partners and third party providers such as third level education institutes and colleges, recruitment agencies, advertising partners, etc.
• Drive the communication strategy around talent attraction both internally and externally optimising the tools such as LinkedIn, refer a friend, website people page, job websites and the ATS system (Occupop).
• Develop and drive the Early careers attraction plan for the business liaising internally and with external partners to build our reputation as Graduate employer of choice.
• Act as a Brand ambassador, role modelling for our people leaders to ensure that every candidate and potential colleague has an exceptional experience from their first and every contact with the company. This will include attendance at and facilitation of recruitment fairs which align with needs.
• Train and share knowledge with our people leaders in their role in the attraction and resourcing of talent with interview skills, development of role profiles and competencies, understanding of future needs, creating opportunities for progression internally. Improve and providing tools to support a consistent and positive experience for every candidate.
• Collaborate and positively contribute to the People & Culture team to leverage experience/practices across the team and promote knowledge sharing.
• To assist on the development and implementation of strategies and policies focusing on attraction, recruitment, D, I&E etc.
• Play a key role in the preboarding and onboarding stages of our candidates and new employees ensuring that our processes are fully compliant and effective in setting our new hires up for success. This will include interview logistics, referencing, right to work, psychometric assessment, contract requesting.
• Role model our values and guiding principles while you lead, coach and develop the talent within the People and Culture team where appropriate.
• Report on recruitment / attraction metrics weekly to the SLT in a concise and meaningful manner.
• Develop working relationships between colleagues encouraging collaborative teamwork cross functionally.

The Person

Previous Experience:
1-2 years Talent Acquisition experience in a Recruitment agency or in house recruitment capacity covering both high volume recruitment and multidisciplinary / technical roles.

Full clean drivers’ licence and own transport required.
Relevant degree or equivalent – CIPD.
Role will hybrid remote / site based in Kildare / Westmeath with an opportunity to avail of flexible work practices.
Open to occasional business travel between UK and Ireland.
Must have right to work in Ireland in a full-time role.
