Senior HR Manager, Dublin 11

Principal Responsibilities:
Below are an example of some of the key areas of responsibility for this role:

  • HR Business partnering to managers across Ireland and the UK
    o First line of support for area managers on all HR issues or opportunities
    o Coach managers on how to deal with various people situations
    o Liaise with managers on training, recruitment and absence
  • Manage large scale HR projects across the business such as the following:
    o New site openings
    o System automation
  • Manage the Culture plan for the business across all jurisdictions
    o Company values awards
    o Corporate Social Responsibility projects across the business
    o Staff Engagement
    o Diversity and Inclusion plans
    o Positive Ability programs
  • HR Communications lead
    o As the senior member of the HR team, you will act as a single point of contact for information flow from the European HR team to the directors of the business in terms of HR updates, HR Plans etc
    o Hold a weekly meeting with the European HR team to understand business priorities and support where required
    o Act as a sounding board for all European HR team members
    o Support and lead on HR projects and drive their completion across the team
  • Management of the HR life cycle within CCS, supported by a HR Advisor
    o Joiner process
    o Leaver process
    o Statutory leave
    o Visa monitoring
  • Absence management and attendance support
    o Managing attendance across Ireland and UK to ensure sick leave is maintained to a minimum level
    o Manage sick leave cases where required via support from the HR Advisor
  • Learning and Development
    o Management of the online training requirements of our staff
    o Lead the Supervisor development program
    o Identify training needs as required across the business
    o Designing and delivering training when required
  • Case Management
    o Advise managers on how to resolve situations without them becoming a formal case
    o Manage cases as they arise
    o Carry out investigations and disciplinaries
    o Support in any documentation gathering
  • TUPE
    o Manage large scale TUPE across the business
    o Handle all employee queries relating to transfers
    o Support the documentation process
    o Control the transferring employee data

 

The Person

Required Skills

• CIPD qualified
• Expert in the day-to-day HR life cycle elements of HR
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Flexible and willing to take on tasks across the business when required
• Friendly and people focused
• Strong IT Literacy
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

The Package

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 DOE

€5,000 bonus based on agreed KPIs
