The Role

Senior HR Generalist

Based in Co. Kildare 

Permanent 

Salary; €40,000-€50,000

Duties:

  • Support the Recruitment Business Partner with the recruitment process, apprenticeships, transition year students process career fairs and day-to-day activities including the preparation of job descriptions, adverting of roles, scheduling of interviews and responding to candidates/regret letters, etc.
  • Assist the Senior People Business Partner with drafting of policies and procedures
  • Support the Senior People Business Partner with ER issues – minute taking, drafting warning
    letters
  • Act as a first point of contact service for internal grievances, ability to offer informal support
  • Contracts of employment - Preparation of contracts of employment, tracking contracts and ensuring employee pack is filed upon receipt
  • Absence Management - Managing sickness process for the weekly employees
  • Involvement in the development of the L&D function at Murphy Ireland, participate in CPD meetings and tracking of L&D Agreements
  • Collate HR metrics required for pre-quals and surveys
  • Management of the HR Outlook drive, responding to applications, etc.
  • Invoicing - Manage all HR / Training related invoices
  • General Administration - Responsible for the accurate preparation and processing of HR forms/documents including Employment Letters/Salary Certs, New Starter packs, etc
  • Undertake HR projects as and when required

The Person

  • 2-4 years HR generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Ability and confidence to deliver human resource guidance and advice to staff at all levels within the organisation.
  • Experience of the Apprenticeship lifecycle desirable.
  • Excellent administration and IT skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • Previous experience in Success Factors would be a distinct advantage.
