The Role

Finance Manager , Dublin 10 - Permanent

 

Role is office based, with possibility to go Hybrid after probationary period.

Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will be managing a busy Accounts Department, and will be liaising with all areas of the business and a good level of commercial acumen is required. 2-5 years’ post qualification experience in a similar role would be advantageous or an enthusiastic Finance manager looking for their first challenge after qualifying. Knowledge of construction or machinery industries is desirable

 

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Managing Finance team of four consisting of Accounts payable, Payroll (ROI & NI), two Part qualified accountants. All Banking functions, authorisations, GBP & EUR, DD collections. Responsible for office support staff.
• Production of Management Accounts / Branch / KPI / Cashflows / Department Reporting to Stakeholders.
• Analysis of individual deals for profitability, interpreting lease contracts & processing
• Revenue recognition, transfer pricing, cross charging, Warranty Dept, WIP
• Monthly ROI & NI payrolls, supervising ROI & NI Weekly payrolls.
• Statutory Returns (VAT (ROI & NI), PAYE, HMRC, CSO)
• Sign off bulk payment files (creditors & payroll), uploading & authorising Inter Company interactions for group & subsidiary companies.
• Data Management, continuous improvement of system that integrates to Volvo & other vendors.
• Full responsibility for Trial Balance, Fixed Assets, Stocktakes, Statutory Audit and leading schedules.
• Ad hoc reporting as required by management/stakeholders.
• Provide overall leadership for all management standards, including commitment, governance, target setting, etc.
• Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.

 

The Person

Microsoft Business Central experience would be a distinct advantage.

Required knowledge & experience:
CPA /ACCA /ACMA / ACA Qualified
Minimum of 2-5 years’ PQE in a similar role
Previous experience in supervising and mentoring.
Proficient expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Microsoft Dynamics/ERP
SAGE Payroll and Accounts/Quantum (Payroll) /Big Red Book
