DUTIES
- Coordinate with the hiring managers to identify their staffing needs
- Develop recruitment advertisements (internal & external) by working closely with marketing
- Source potential candidates through social platforms and professional networks
- Assess candidate information and schedule interviews by applying open, fair and transparent selection procedures
- Design job descriptions for all roles
- Develop interview questions that reflect each positions requirements, along with interview assessment sheets
- Carry out all screening of potential candidates
- Determine selection criteria
- Assist in the induction process of new recruits as part of the onboarding process
- Plan and implement long-term recruitment strategies, nurturing trusting relationships with potential hires
- Create strong talent pipeline for our Company’s current and future hiring needs by developing long-term recruitment strategies
- Work closely with the HR Manager to analyse future Company development and to anticipate future employment needs
- Identify and attend employer branding initiatives e.g. recruitment and job fairs
- Proactively review market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
- Create monthly reporting on key talent acquisition metrics and market intelligence
- Continuously review ways to improve talent acquisition activities
- Provide administrative support within the HR Department as deemed necessary
- Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansion
- Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Degree qualified in a HR discipline, such as Recruitment or a similar field, is desirable
- Proven experience as a recruitment/talent acquisition specialist
- Experience and familiarity with social media and professional networks
- Complete hands-on experience with full cycle recruitment to include interview techniques and evaluation methods where applicable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Strategic thinker with initiative for continuous improvement and drive
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise their own workload
- Experience of working in a similar industry would be an advantage
