Projects Accountant

The Finance Dept. in Dublin has responsibility for reporting to Group for Ireland, the project accountant will assist the Financial Controller in preparation of all reports with particular emphasis on project specific cashflows. Strict deadlines are in place throughout the month and it is desirable that the Project Accountant has experience of working in a multinational environment with working knowledge of IFRS15. The Company business is mainly projects based in the construction industry, knowledge is not compulsory but very much desirable.

Main responsibilities are listed below.

Monthly Reporting
Assisting in preparation of reporting packs for submission to Group Controlling (WD4 to WD6).
Management from a finance view of all large projects, including cashflow forecasting, terms and conditions, revenue recognition, project reviews and margin analysis.
Liaison with other departments across the group to ensure alignment
Other Monthly reconciliations
Other items that may require assistance
Revenue Filings: VAT, PAYE, RCT, Intrastat
Statistics
Employee expenses & mileage compliance and audit
Adhoc Group reports
Corporate Governance compliance
