The Role
• Active role in process improvements in purchasing
• Participate in regional procurement projects (e.g., raw material harmonization...)
• Price forecasting
• Observation of Group purchasing strategy
• Following product approval guidelines
• Review of purchasing requisitions, creation of purchasing orders and follow up (external and intercompany)
• Creation and adaption of the master data (order quantities, lead times, prices…)
• Maintenance of vendor and material data
• Control of invoices (non-alignment with PO’s only)
• Co-operation with lead buyers, global category buyers and production planner
• Responsibility for raw material and trade stocks
• Handling of external claims (Quantity- , Time- and Quality issues)
• Price requests and negotiations for local materials
The Person
o Relevant third level qualification
o Fluent English (spoken and written) other European languages a benefit
o Systems experience – Microsoft Navision/SAP or similar and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
o Purchasing & negotiation experience
o Team player
o Communicative excellence
o Strong and self-confident personality
o Entrepreneurial spirit
o Independent and structured way of working
o Understanding of food ingredients or science background an advantage
The Package
Base salary €60,000
Annual incentive plan/bonus target 10% of base salary
Pension scheme contribution starting at 3-4%
Health insurance allowance €750 pa
