Payroll Specialist - Fully Remote

Salary: €42,000 - €46,000 + Benefits

Fully Remote

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experience Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis.

This role can be either Fully Remote or Hybrid

Candidates must have experience processing both a ROI and UK Payroll.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of payroll and benefits process for assigned region.
  • Process the payroll for Ireland and UK region
  • Process employee and company data in the HR systems
  • Keep up to date with prevailing developments in laws and regulations related to this role
  • Be a subject matter expert in payroll and benefit activities and communicate and advise stakeholders accordingly
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network of HR specialists
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with the payroll partners and benefit providers
  • Act as a 1st line support and contact for HR colleagues, employees and managers on payroll and benefit queries
  • Work within the compliance framework applicable in our organization
  • Keep HR documentation up to date
  • Act as a key user for the payroll and benefit HR tooling landscape
  • Take initiatives to monitor, challenge and update all payroll and benefit processes

The Person

Key Skills:

  • 3rd Level education (preferred but not essential)
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience processing both a ROI and UK Payroll
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes
  • Fluent English Required.
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Developed judgement and persuasion skills
