Mullingar (Office based)
The payroll officer works closely with Finance and HR to deliver weekly payroll in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with previous payroll in a Multinational Construction or similar environment.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be a self- starter with the initiative.
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge of payroll and benefits processes
Excellent time management, prioritising and communications skills are essential.
Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
Brightpay experience desirable or equivalent Payroll system
Experience with payroll in a construction or similar environment.
Experience with UK Payroll & benefits required, EU payroll experience highly desirable
Deadline driven and detailed orientated
Responsible for the preparation of weekly/ monthly payroll reporting and processing
Preparation of payment information using Brightpay payroll software, appropriately applying benefits such as BIK on cars, healthcare etc
Management of vehicle tracking system for all road-based crews.
Payroll reporting including absenteeism, benefits, Working time and BIK.
Ensuring weekly times are entered for all trade and staff on site within deadline set by payroll dept. Approval of these hours to pass to payroll for processing.
Liaise with HR in relation to new starts, transfers, increases and employees finishing.
Dealing with any payroll related queries as they arise
Process employee reimbursements
Benefits administration using a variety of online systems
Hours: Minimum working week is based on 37 hours (9:00am to 5:30pm – Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm- Friday)
