The Role

Operations Management

  • Continuous critical analysis of the existing operating model
  • Constant design and implementation of operating procedures and measures
  • Creation of a metrics to allow KPI management of all operations functions.
  • Achieving budgeted plans for the operations function

Customer Service:

  • Management of the first point of contact for all customers
  • Allocation and organisation of service engineers
  • Measurement and management of all internal customer contacts
  • Systems development to ensure fit for purpose
  • Reporting on all customer service engagements
  • Measure and ensure customer satisfaction

Field and Telephone Service:

  • Building and marinating a highly effective team of engineers
  • Continuous Professional Development for all team members
  • Achieving KPI’s that drive service excellence

Project Management & Installations

  • Build and establish a project management function
  • Assist with pre-sales design, consultancy, planning and post sales quality control
  • Ownership for all project planning and delivery

Warehousing and Distribution

  • Ensuring that the infrastructure and resources are in place to meet demand
  • Coordination with all supply chain parties to ensure necessary minimum stock holding
  • Creating an environment of ‘get it right, first time every time’

Service Contracts

  • Deliver service contract revenue targets
  • Create a compelling proposition for service contract

The Person

  • Ideally will have a technical and/or project management qualification
  • A strong understanding and experience of project disciplines and principles
  • Strong technical/engineering background with a project environment, with an emphasis on operations or service management desirable.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Has a strong grasp of financial budgeting and management
